The Avon and Somerset Violence Reduction Partnership (ASVRP) has published its Annual Report for 2024–2025, highlighting a year of meaningful progress towards preventing serious youth violence and creating safer communities.
Guided by our evidence-led, partnership-driven approach, ASVRP has continued to strengthen collaboration across health, education, policing, community organisations, and other key sectors. Our hub-and-spoke model and robust quarterly reporting have enabled us to identify and respond quickly to emerging local risks and incidents, ensuring tailored interventions reach those who need them most.
Over the past year, we have co-designed and delivered 39 interventions, reaching 13,825 young people, 778 parents and carers, and 1,101 professionals, in collaboration with more than 50 delivery partners.
While challenges remain, particularly around short-term funding cycles, the partnership remains committed to building a sustainable and joined-up approach to tackling serious violence. Together, we are laying the foundations for a safer future for the next generation.
We extend our thanks to all partners for their dedication, expertise, and collaboration, which make this vital work possible.
